So this is it. Chris is getting married on 2nd August. Many of you are probably coming to that. And it is time for my last night of freedom (technically I have another two weeks, but I'll have to spend all that buying shoes, and agreeing that flowers look nice, and just generally being pushed around and being under the thumb).
So you are invited to a gig on the 18th July, in Sheffield:
•There will be lots of bands - as many as I can fit in, in fact. •There will be an entry cost £2 - all going to the names-not-numbers.co.uk charity •There will be merriment, and there will be about a hundred people crashing at my house the night after. •There will be dancing, there will be fighting (if Steve gets involved). •Feel free to stay at my house - bring a sleeping bag!
Be there, or DONT BE! For details of the NINE acts, click "read more"...

Crimson Fight have added 3 new tracks to their MySpace profile. They were recorded late 2007 and are taken from their upcoming (hopefully in 2008) EP, 'Save Your Breath'. I wonder if the title refers to how long it will be until the EP is released as in "save your breath, it'll be ready when it's ready!"
I'm sure they would appreciate any form of donations to go towards getting the CD pressed - failing that then please pray for Crimson FIght, as well as all the other awesome Christian Punk/Rock/Metal/Hardcore that are struggling to make themselves heard aand for organisations like Meltdown and Steel Cross who are doing their best to get these bands heard!

Posted on Crimson Fight's MySpace blog: Hey guys,
I got a call from the awesome Dave Williams from Meltdown this week, confirming our spot on the Hard Music stage at Greenbelt festival this year. The festival runs from the 22nd-25th August at Cheltenham Racecourse. Details are somewhat sketchy at the moment, but any info will go right here as soon as we know more.
This is really exciting for us, so any friends in England who are going to Greenbelt this year let us know and we'll hook up and dance fo' sho'.
That's all I got for now, ECL's Joel x
